The Tour Custom series snare drums deliver warm, open tones with a great balance of sensitivity and wide, dynamic range.

14″ x 6.5″, 6-ply, 5.6mm shell maple delivers clear articulation, quick snare response and balanced sensitivity with a slightly deep tone than the Tour Custom 5″ x 5″ model.

The Tour Custom Snare deliver a rich, warm tone and right amount of sustain and brightness that will work on the stage and the studio.

The staggered diagonal seam construction Yamaha is know for keeps shells round.

Rimshots are sharp and defining, what drummers expect from a Yamaha 14’’x5.5” snare.

2.3mm Inverse DynaHoops help to control overtones for a more focused attack and produce fuller rimshots.

A dual-tension adjustment strainer with a compact, lightweight and simple design for a wide range of adjustments and fine-tuning.

Absolute single-post lugs attached to the shell by a single bolt and an insertion plate allow the shell to vibrate more freely and maximize sustain.

A 20-strand high carbon steel snare wire provide fast, crisp articulation.

The Tour Custom snare ships with Remo UT heads for a great tone out of the box.
