Ibanez Prestige RGD3121 Electric Guitar – Polar Lights Flat by Ibanez. 2 Active Humbucking Pickups – Polar Lights Flat. Solidbody Electric Guitar with Basswood Body. Ebony Fingerboard. Maple/Wenge Neck. This Long-scale Rgd is Primed for Down-tuned Metal If your repertoire includes lots of djent-y chugging, you need an axe built to withstand an aggressive down-tuned assault. Enter the Ibanez Prestige RGD3121. This beastly solidbody electric guitar’s body positively growls with a warm-yet-defined tone that pairs precisely with a set of multi-voice Fishman Fluence Modern ceramic humbuckers. The RGD3121’s comfortable 5-piece Wizard HP neck is a joy to wrap your hand around, and its 24-fret Macassar ebony fingerboard, which is enhanced by Ibanez’s Prestige fret edge treatment, yields lightning-fast playability for high-register shredding and furious riffing alike. What’s more, this guitar’s 26.5-inch scale works in tandem with a Mono-rail hardtail bridge to deliver rock-solid intonation with heavy string gauges — an essential for down-tuned playing styles. Every player in the progressive metal.
