Introducing the Disher Rattlesnake Bass Guitar! A unique, versatile sounding bass guitar accented with the cool “Join, or Die” rattlesnake cartoon created by Benjamin Franklin in 1754. (Combining Disher Music Gear’s two loves: music & history. Because what’s more punk rock than that?) This bass is one of only 15 made (first editions). Be revolutionary. Make history with history.

This is a quality, hand finished bass guitar. Built with an Artec mudbucker pickup and Wilkinson PJ pickups, this bass allows for the creation of a host of unique, crisp tones. Whether you particularly love the sound of a mudbucker, or P pickups, or a J pickup (or any combination of the three), this bass is for you.

The headstock shape is reminiscent of an antique revolutionary war saber (a fitting shape to imprint the “Join, or Die,” cartoon snake head as well).

The Rattlesnake Bass comes in three colors: Natural Wood Grain, Metallic Cherry Red, or Metallic Blue.

Disher seatbelt nylon/leather guitar strap is enhanced with:
– Two leather pockets for guitar picks
– Printed revolutionary historical imagery (resembling antique copper/wooden plate printing)
– Slip-resistant, thick, rubbery ink for historical designs
– Cowhide leather ends
– Thick gun metal buckles
– Comes in a gift box and is wrapped in black tissue paper that is sealed with a wax seal. Gift box also contains two rubber strap locks, two guitar picks, two stickers, and a card explaining the history of the strap’s historical designs.
