Solid Construction: Shruti boxes are typically small, portable instruments. They are usually rectangular or square in shape, resembling a small wooden box. The body is made of teak wood, although other versions may use other materials like plastic.

Great Bellows or Pump Mechanism: Our Shruti box produces sound through bellows or a pump mechanism. Traditional versions often use hand-operated bellows. The mechanism is great and we have made a very superior sounding instrument.

Superior Reeds : Inside the Shruti box, there are multiple reeds made in Palitana. These produce the continuous drone sound when air is pumped through them. Each reed is tuned to a specific pitch, typically representing different notes of the musical scale in Indian classical music.

Super Portability: One of the significant advantages of the Shruti box is its portability. Its compact size and lightweight construction make it easy to carry around, allowing musicians to use it in various settings, from practice sessions to live performances.
